which translates to the transformation of a community.I believe
that a leader is more than a manager due to the fact that while
management could be a career, leadership is a calling.
Managers are usually limited to their jobs’ descriptions and terms of reference while the leader’s heart may touch beyond the set limits. Warren Bernice once said; “A business short of capital can borrow money and one in a poor location can relocate but a business short of leadership has very little chances of survival”.

This is because with the real, and true qualities of effective
leadership one will no doubt touch the entirety of an individual life as well as that of a society bearing in mind that a leader is not followed because of the position he is guarding but the direction in which he is taking his followers.

Effective leadership has become rare in our generation due to the uprising systems of living in the present world and most leaders
continue to be hands off and in fear of breaking the status quo. True leadership is never pegged to personal gains but hangs on an intensive desire to impact communities. I recommend us to draw our qualities from God’s word which carries His fundamental idea of effective leadership.
