A great leader is one who connects with our creator and is endowed with the ability to raise constituents of like qualities
which translates to the transformation of a community.I believe
that a leader is more than a manager due to the fact that while
management could be a career, leadership is a calling.
Managers are usually limited to their jobs\u2019 descriptions and terms of reference while the leader\u2019s heart may touch beyond the set limits. Warren Bernice once said; \u201cA business short of capital can borrow money and one in a poor location can relocate but a business short of leadership has very little chances of survival\u201d.
A leader\u2019s stature comprises of such elements as stated in Jeremiah 3:15 plus many other components that Leadership
Empowerment International Network (LEIN) aims to address.
This is because with the real, and true qualities of effective
leadership one will no doubt touch the entirety of an individual life as well as that of a society bearing in mind that a leader is not followed because of the position he is guarding but the direction in which he is taking his followers.
John Maxwell states that leadership is mainly about influence and every organization rises or falls on leadership.
Effective leadership has become rare in our generation due to the uprising systems of living in the present world and most leaders
continue to be hands off and in fear of breaking the status quo. True leadership is never pegged to personal gains but hangs on an intensive desire to impact communities. I recommend us to draw our qualities from God\u2019s word which carries His fundamental idea of effective leadership.
